Artist Biography
Lorraine Hayden is a popular Carlow artist well known for her floral, still life, & abstract work. Her favourite medium being oils.
Her passion for colour can be seen in the luminousity of her vibrant palette, drawing inspiration from the everyday images in her local environment. She experiments continuously with different tools & techniques to express herself & intrigues viewers as they attempt to decipher the creative forms. Her experiences, interwoven with memory & intention continue to feed her process. Lorraine has taken part in many shows locally & nationally & continues to maintain a studio in Carlow town .
